# How to Create Plastic Sheets Using a Pizza Oven and Cardboard/PET Press

This guide will demonstrate the process of making plastic sheets with the aid of a pizza oven and a press designed for cardboard/PET materials.

## Steps
### Step 1: Refurbishing the oven and PID

We obtained a used pizza oven from a local restaurant at no cost. We sanded, cleaned, and equipped it with a PID controller. The thermometer is centrally located in the oven.

### Step 2: Making the mold

We constructed a mold using square steel tubes, sized to fit the oven. Alternatively, bread trays can be used.

The key to producing quality sheets lies in this step. We are continually improving our molds; this instance employs available steel.

For future molds:
- Aluminum sheets will be utilized
- A frame will be added to restrain compression width

### Step 3: The process I

Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the mold. Then, add approximately 6.6 pounds (3 kg) of shredded HDPE and secure the mold lid.

### Step 4: The process II

Certainly! Here's the revised text:

Turn on the oven and set the temperature according to the plastic type. We found 160°C (320°F) effective when measured at the oven's center.

### Step 5: The process III

Heat for 40-50 minutes, then proceed to the press. We use a press designed for PET and cardboard at the local center.

### Step 8: Try it yourself

Plastic sheets offer versatility for product creation, commonly utilized after CNC milling. They can also be hand-cut for making boxes, signs, and skateboards. Experiment at home and share your results.
